Testimonial to Cynthia

DaKoda was my first dog and I knew very little of how to assimilate an exuberant Labrador retriever into our family. Luckily, I was advised by Cynthia to begin puppy training immediately to set expectations and discourage development of bad behavior.

Cynthia helped us to establish reasonable rules that would work with our schedule and lifestyle. She taught us to communicate with our dog by understanding pack mentality and train through repetition. He learned quickly and enjoyed spending time with us. It was fun to watch his development.

Koda was housetrained by the second session! We introduced a notification method so Koda simply had to "ring a bell" to indicate his need to use the bathroom.

The obedience came quickly too. Koda learned the basic commands easily and accepted our dominance within the pack. People often comment on his good behavior. He is a delight! We feel that we can take him anywhere and have total control over his behavior.

Cynthia also encouraged socialization. Koda enjoys both people and other animals and is calm around both. He does not jump to greet or chase other animals. He is perfectly mannered at our home, at other people’s homes or at the dog park.

Grooming and first aid techniques were also introduced in our sessions. These techniques have helped us maintain Koda’s health and well-being.

Working with Cynthia was a wonderful experience. She was extremely knowledgeable and caring. She uses her unique perspective of the dog pack to introduce training methods that are easy to enforce by all family members. These methods work! I credit our well-behaved, loveable dog to her.

Furthermore, each of Cynthia’s training programs are developed for the particular needs of the pet and family. It is evident in her dedication that her mission is to create a thriving environment that unifies the pet with his/her new family/pack.

Our training sessions lasted only a few weeks but the lessons learned will endure throughout Koda’s lifetime.
