Dog Training in Pinellas County

In Home Private Training

Tired of being angry at your dog?

You are going to like your dog a lot better!

Maybe this is your first dog, maybe your dog turned out bigger and rowdier than you expected, maybe your dog has already developed some bad habits. Maybe you already tried a traditional obedience class or private training and it didn’t work. We all want our dogs to be well mannered and obedient, but accomplishing that can be overwhelming, especially for a busy family. Whatever the case, your dog is in need of training right now to correct negative behavior and shape positive behavior.

In Home Private Training is a 6 lesson program in your home designed to establish and implement a rule system using prevention, positive direction, and basic obedience as well as corrective measure designed to produce positive results quickly. At each lesson we will establish goals to meet, practice implementing those goals and advance your program. You will learn how to communicate you wishes effectively and efficiently. Your dog will learn that you are the leader and make all the rules, and that following your direction is a good and rewarding thing to do.

    What your dog WILL learn

  • Ride calmly in the car
  • Be a happy and well mannered companion
  • Live peacefully with other pets
  • Remain calm around other dogs

What your dog will learn to NOT do
  • Not to jump on people
  • Not to charge through doors
  • Not to jump around and bark in the car
  • Not to dig in the yard
  • Not to chew inappropriately
  • Not to climb on furniture you prefer they avoid
  • Not to sniff and eat off the table and counters

  • Not to ignore you when you want their attention
  • Not to chase your children, cats or other pets

Most clients see a dramatic improvement in the first two weeks!
