Testimonials
The Ackerman Family
When we got our first puppy "Sasha" an Aussie mix three years ago we did not know what we were in for. We were novices in puppy/dog training. After a few months of trying to get things under control our way we finally realized that we needed help. Sasha was pulling me down the street when I tried to walk her, she jumped, chewed, and she was also horrified to go to the vet. There were several vet visit's that were so stressful for Sasha and myself I would leave in tears, Sasha was traumatized and I was thinking what could I do to make things better and what kind of crazy dog do I have? Another very serious bad habit Sash had, "had" being the operative word here, was running away. Sasha would dart out any open door and this is the worst and most horrible feeling I could have as dog owner and I did not want any of these behavior's to continue.
So, I signed Sasha up for dog class with Cynthia. Which has been the best and smartest thing I have done as a pet owner. I learned from the first class that I was the one who needed taught, I needed to learn in order for Sasha to know what good behavior was I had to know how to show her, and how to deal with her behavior's in a positive way with training her at the same time. With much determination and persistent work Sasha began to sit, and stay on a loose leash. Sasha began to come to me when I would command "here". I could walk her around the neighborhood with out being tugged through my neighbors yards in addition, Sasha began to learn not to jump up on me or people any more. I can take her to the vet now without her getting horribly upset, and best of all she sit, stays at the door when it is opened.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference the training made. She was like a new dog. I could not believe the progress she had made. I truly believe that if I had not taken the initiative to try the training Sasha would not be the wonderful dog she is today. The training that Sasha and I have done has created a bond between us that is like no other. The bond you create with your pet though training is very special, and I'm so happy that I have been able to do this with Sasha, she really has become a well behaved dog. Sasha is trustworthy now, and that says a lot about her progress knowing were I started with her.
This training has worked so well for Sasha that a few months ago when we added a new Golden Retriever puppy "Gracie" to our family I immediately knew that "Gracie" was going to dog class. I definitely would recommend training with Cynthia for anyone with puppy or dog with behavior issues or for any dog that just needs some guidance with behavior. Learning the to train yourself on how to teach your puppy or dog is the first step in having a well behaved pet, and with Cynthia's help and guidance you will also be able to have well behaved pets like I do. I can not thank Cynthia enough for her help with Sasha, I have truly learned so much, and I continue to learn how to help make Sasha and Gracie live safe, happy and healthy lives.
Thank you Cynthia for all your help,
Danielle Ackerman
